ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A country music singer who had a viral social media hit, then followed that with another hit that topped the Country chart will be the opening act for country star Brad Paisley's concert at Allentown Fair.

Nashville artist-songwriter George Birge, whose song "Beer Beer, Truck Truck" went viral on social media in 2021, then who hit No. 1 with the song "Mind On You" in 2022, will be Paisley's "special guest" at the Aug. 30 concert. the fair said.

Tickets, at $89-$109, remain on sale at the fair websiteor at Ticketmaster.com.

Birge has a new single, “Cowboy Songs” that's already in the Top 40 on the Country Airplay chart.

With more than 67.3 million streams across his catalog, Birge started his recording career as part of the country duo Waterloo Revival, which had two minor hits, "Hit the Road" and "Bad for You" in 2013.

He also has written songs recorded by other artists.

He has appeared on TV's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," and also will support Sam Hunt and Luke Bryan concerts this summer.

Tickets also will be available on Feb. 2 for this year’s previously announced Allentown Fair headliners, Heart and Cheap Trick on Aug. 28, Pentatonixon Aug. 31 and Jeff Dunhamon Sept. 1.
