BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors have a new president.
Lori Campbell was sworn in Thursday as president of the group at an induction ceremony held at the Steel Club. The association represents more than 3,000 real estate agents in Carbon, Lehigh and Northampton counties.
Campbell, a full-time real estate agent since 1986, is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Heritage Real Estate in Bethlehem Township. She replaces former GLVR President Howard Schaeffer of Re/Max Real Estate, who had served two terms.
The president of the association holds the position for one year and is elected by a nominating committee, which consists of the past president and two directors.
Besides being a Realtor and licensed real estate salesperson in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Campbell also holds an associate broker’s license.
“Being the president of the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors is a privilege that I don’t take lightly, and I am eager to dedicate my time and energy to serving the Realtor brand and to advancing the collective interests of our members,” Campbell said in a news release. “I am inspired by the legacy of leadership that has bought us to this moment and will do my best to uphold the values that define GLVR.”
About 170 real estate professionals attended the induction ceremony. Campbell has been involved with the organization and served on various task forces and committees for years.
She has been involved in numerous volunteer activities with Meals on Wheels and Safe Harbor in Easton. She also is active in her church and serves as a blood services coordinator in blood drives for the American Red Cross.
