BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Two high-charting indie musical acts will perform a paid-ticket show at Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks, ArtsQuest announced Tuesday.
Band of Horses, best known for its double-platinum 2006 hit "The Funeral," and City and Colour, known for its 2015 Adult Alternative chart hits "Wasted Love" and "Lover Come Back," will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8. Gates will open at 6 p.m.
Tickets, at $45 in advance and $48 day of show for the standing Levitt lawn, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24, at www.Steelstacks.org. There will be an eight-ticket-per-customer limit.

Band of Horses' 2006 debut album "Everything All The Time" achieved gold sales with "The Funeral" as its best-selling single.
The group again achieved gold with 2007's "Cease to Begin," which peaked at No. 35 on the overall Albums chart and produced the gold single "No One's Gonna Love You."
Its third album, 2010's "Infinite Arms," had the Top 40 hit "Laredo" and became the group's highest-charting disc, hitting No. 7 on the Albums chart.
It had two more Top 20 albums — 2012's "Mirage Rock" and 2016's "Why Are You OK."
It's most recent release, 2022's "Things Are Great," also hit the Top 200 on the Albums chart.
City and Colour
City and Colour, the stage name of Dallas Green, has released six albums since his 2005 debut "Sometimes." That album won Canada's Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year.
Green also won the Juno for Songwriter of the Year that year, and repeated the honor in 2012.

The album "Bring Me Your Love" in 2008 peaked at No. 35 on the Indie chart and 2011's "Little Hell" hit No. 7 on that chart.
"If I Should Go Before You" in 2015 produced City and Colour's only charting hits — "Wasted Love," which hit No. 28, and "Lover Come Back," which peaked at No. 8.
City and Colour has released two albums since: 2019's "A Pill for Lonliness," which hit No. 8 on the Indies Album chart, and its most recent, 2023's "The Love Still Held Me Near."
In 2014, Green collaborated with singer P!nk on a duo project called You+Me and its debut album “Rose Ave.” debuted at No. 4 on the U.S. Albums chart and No. 2 in Canada.

The Front Bottoms, the New Jersey-based band that had the Top 20 Alternative hit “Peace Sign” in 2018, performed at the Levitt this past Saturday.
