The new, state-of-the-art Da Vinci Science Center has opened! Reporter Jason Addy had a first-hand look at the facility and all it has to offer. The Center is part of a new wave of development in downtown Allentown, and soon could bring more than a half-million new visitors to a few blocks of the city every year.
In addition, there are some really cool things, including Curiosity Hall, an otter swim tank, and an immersive Ponds and Lakes exhibit.
Plus, a highlight of ArtsQuest’s Oktoberfest includes Weiner Dog Races. If PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has it way, the races won’t happen in 2024.
PETA suggested ArtsQuest swap it with a meet-and-greet style event for local shelter animals and potential guardians.
