BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A 1990s band that had four Top 10 hits has been announced as the 11th and final headliner for this summer's Musikfest festival.
Joining it will be a band that also had a platinum hit and album in the 1990s.
Sugar Ray, which had the chart-topping hits "Fly" in 1997 and "Every Morning" in 1999, will take the festival's main Steel Stage on Aug. 2, the first full night of the festival, which will run Aug. 2-11, with an Aug. 1 preview night.
Opening the show will be Tonic, best known for its 1997 hit "If You Could Only See."

Sugar Ray also played a headline show at Musikfest in 2000. It also played a paid-ticket show at Levitt Pavilion SteelStacke in 2016 with the Summerland Tour, with Everclear, Lit and Sponge.
Success in the 1990s
Sugar Ray released its first album, "Lemonade and Brownies," in 1995, but first hit the charts with its 1997 sophomore disc, "Floored."
That disc sold double-platinum and peaked at No. 12 on Billboard's Albums chart. It included the song "Fly," which topped the Pop chart.

Its fourth, self-titled album in 2001 sold gold and was its highest-charting, peaking at No. 6 on the overall Albums chart.
That disc produced the band's last Top 10 hit, "When It's Over."
The group's latest album was "Little Yachty" in 2019.
Tonic made its biggest impact with its debut album, "Lemon Parade," in 1996. The disc sold platinum, peaked in the Top 30 and produced its biggest hit, "If You Could Only See."
Its 1999 sophomore album, "Sugar," also hit the Top 100 and produced the Top 5 Mainstream Rock song "You Wanted More," its last charting hit.
The group's most recent disc was 2016's "Lemon Parade Revisited."
Final headliner for this year
The announcement is the 11th and final headline performer for Musikfest's 41st year.
